He has been actively involved with AANA for 16 years. Last year he was named 1st Vice President. Dr. Beach follows in the footsteps of two Tuckahoe founders: John F. Meyers, MD and the late Richard Caspari, MD. Drs. Meyers and Caspari each previously served as President of AANA. We are especially proud to be the only orthopaedic practice in North America with the distinction of having more than one AANA President.
AANA exists to promote, encourage, support and foster the development and dissemination of knowledge in the discipline of arthroscopic surgery. The ultimate mission is to improve upon the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. AANA is made up of over 3,600 physicians worldwide who demonstrate a continuing interest in Arthroscopy.
Dr. Beach is a member of the Arthroscopy & Sports Medicine Team at Tuckahoe Orthopaedics. He received his medical degree from Ohio State University and served his internship and residency at Washington University School of Medicine. He was then awarded a fellowship with Orthopaedic Research of Virginia (ORV). This fellowship offered him the opportunity to receive specialty training in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy. He has a passion for education and now trains surgeons participating in this same fellowship program at ORV.
